1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the SportBuddy Prague website and pre-launch services. By joining the waitlist or using the site, you accept these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the service.
The mobile application, when launched, will be subject to additional in-app terms presented at registration.
2. Description of service
SportBuddy is a platform to connect sports players, communities, events, tournaments, open invites and chat in Prague. The website currently offers information, a waitlist, and launch-related communications.
Features may change during development. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the pre-launch site.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding agreement under applicable law. Organizers and coaches declare that information they provide is accurate.
4. Waitlist
Joining the waitlist does not create a paid subscription. We may contact you about launch, beta access, and product updates. You may unsubscribe via email or by contacting us.
Providing false or misleading information may result in removal from the waitlist.
5. Launch giveaway
Waitlist members before launch may be entered into a prize draw. Prizes are sport-related perks (e.g. app subscription, merch, venue vouchers) with no cash alternative unless stated.
Separate giveaway rules (eligibility, draw date, winners, taxes) will be published before the draw. The draw is not sponsored by Apple/Google unless explicitly stated.
6. Acceptable use
When the app launches, community guidelines and event rules apply in addition to these Terms.
- No unlawful, harassing, discriminatory or fraudulent activity
- No scraping, reverse engineering or disruption of the service
- No impersonation of other users or entities
- Respect intellectual property and privacy of others
7. User content (future app)
You retain ownership of content you post. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, display and process it solely to operate the service.
We may remove content that violates law or these Terms.
8. Events & physical activity
SportBuddy facilitates organisation of sports activities. Participation is at your own risk. We are not liable for injuries, disputes between players, or venue conditions unless caused by our gross negligence.
Organizers are responsible for their events complying with local laws and venue rules.
9. Intellectual property
SportBuddy name, logo, design and software are protected. You may not use our branding without written permission.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Czech and EU consumer law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or third-party actions.
Nothing limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. EU consumers retain mandatory rights in their country of residence.
Courts in Prague have jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer rules provide otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
