2. Scope
This policy covers data collected via our website, waitlist, contact form, launch giveaway, and emails about the SportBuddy sports community platform for Prague.
Third-party venues or apps linked from SportBuddy have their own policies.
3. Categories of data
We may process the following, depending on your interaction:
- Name and email address
- Waitlist: role, sports interests, goals, notification preferences, optional notes
- Technical: IP address, device/browser, access times (server logs)
- Contact form: topic and message
- After app launch: account data, profile, sport level, events, communities, chat, location you choose — per the in-app notice before collection
4. Purposes and legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)
- Operating the waitlist and informing you about launch — steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)) and/or consent (Art. 6(1)(a))
- Launch giveaway — consent (Art. 6(1)(a))
- Answering contact requests — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) or consent
- Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f))
- Legal compliance — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c))
- Non-essential analytics — consent where required (Art. 6(1)(a))
5. Retention
Waitlist: until withdrawal of consent or 24 months after public launch if no account is created.
Contact messages: up to 24 months after the matter is closed.
Server logs: typically up to 90 days.
6. Recipients
Processors (hosting, email, future cloud database) act only on our instructions under GDPR Art. 28 agreements. We do not sell personal data.
7. Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers (e.g. in the US) may process data outside the EEA. We use appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
8. Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability where applicable, and withdraw consent at any time.

You may lodge a complaint with the Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (UOOU), www.uoou.cz, or your local EU supervisory authority.
9. Children
Services are directed at users aged 16+. We do not knowingly process data of younger children without parental authority.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures. No online service is completely risk-free.

We may update this policy. The date above indicates the latest version. Material changes will be highlighted on the website.
